I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
2 Peter 1:3
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
I spent the first 9 1/2 years of my marriage as a military wife. I remember people always asking me: How do you do it?
How are you able to watch your husband head towards such intense danger?
How are you able to let the military control so much of your life?
How are you able to make and lose friends so quickly?
How are you able to give birth to your child alone, while your husband is in Iraq?
Like many military wives, I just did what I had to do. It’s not like I really had a choice. One thing I did have a choice in was how I responded to each step of our journey. I could have grumbled, been angry, frustrated, and resentful; and perhaps at times I was each of those things. Overwhelmingly though, I was able to rest in the strong arms of Jesus. I was able to overcome all of the difficulties because Christ was my strength. Without the love and assurance of my Savior to cling to, surely I would have crumbled.
The MADE Woman is able; able to do all things because her strength is in Christ.
She is able to
…love because Christ first loved her.
…forgive because she has been forgiven.
…create because she is made in the image of her Creator.
Everything that the Made Woman sets her mind to is within her reach. She lacks nothing.
When she needs to endure…she is able.
When she needs to rise…she is able.
When she needs to overcome…she is able.
She is capable and skilled for the task set before her. God has a divine plan for her and she is able to complete it.
